This was rehearsed and recorded one evening in Omaha, Nebraska at the home studio of musician Jack McLaughlin. Many thanks to Dan, Charlie, and Jordan for creating an awesome accompaniment out of thin air.

Now it is time for that question:
Should I relinquish control?
Spit the words stuck in my stomach?
Hurl the fire deep from my soul?
If I was not so incredibly tired, I'd sing you that song we all know

It's not so hard to uncover
It's simmering under the mold
Growing with each passing moment
Billowing into a storm
Cracks down inside with bolts of black light
Pouring out into the cold

I thought I had all your answers
Your questions were all so confused
Then I remembered how crazy you are
You tie up your mind and refuse
To open the doors and try something more
You're treating your soul like a zoo

Locking away all the creatures
Too ugly for you to abuse
Unfortunately, the locks are too weak
And the animals too need their food
At night they run wild, teeth flashing white

The undying sea, where people like me
