This is the start of my old life
The things I needed were not quite the best
A covered caravan of pure gold
An ancient robot quickly turned to stone

And it was purely magical,
I saw a fog bank in the dungeon
Where an old man told his tale,
Warned me I was bound to fail

I never needed no one's thoughts
They screwed me over, so I lost all trust
I needed knives to pass the time
The things that made me happy, they called crimes

And it was almost tragical,
Not a comedy played at a luncheon
Where a young man fell and failed,
While a child stood by and wailed

And truly sheets in twisted time
Could never make the water rise again
And in the doorway to the stars,
I fell and slumped down at the interstellar bar

And it was very baffling,
Very strong but not too much
The incident of angles was nailed
